Autobiography

Urbisinova Gulmira Talgatovna - interior designer, honorary architect of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician.

    She was born on January 20, 1982, in Aktobe city, in the family of an economist and a doctor.

     In 1988 she entered to the first grade of the school (studied in russian), studied 7-11 grades at the Kazakh gymnasium #32 and graduated with honors.

     In the period from 1993 to 1999, she studied at the Art Lyceum in Aktobe and graduated with honors as an artist-decorator.

      In 1999, she entered the Eurasian National University on a grant with a degree in Design and Architecture, which she graduated in 2004 with honors.

      When she graduated from the university, her diploma work was awarded the prize of the Japanese architect Kiso Kurakawa, and the Gulmira’s name was included in the Golden Book of the university.

      In 2004-2006 she worked as an interior designer, taught design courses in the evenings and mentored young designers.

     In 2006, she took up private

entrepreneurship and founded MIHON design LLP company, which she manages to this day.

     Major projects completed over the years:

1. UN Office in Astana, ASIA PARK shopping center, MONTE BIANCA hotel
2. Five-star hotel RIXOS KHADISHA SHYMKENT and the Central Mosque in Shymkent
3. RIXOS TURKISTAN hotel, entertainment center KHANSHAIYM PLAZA in Turkestan
4. ACE Hotel and ACE Tennis Center in Aktobe
5. Various residential buildings and hotels, business centers were also completed in many cities of Kazakhstan and abroad (more than 1000 objects with a total area of more than 320,000 square meters)

He is a member of the Association of Designers and Architects of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2021, she received the title of Honorary Architect of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2023, she was awarded the title of academician (full member) of the International Informatization Academy.

Married, has 3 children.

Husband - Aitbaev Erlan Zhenisovich, sons Zhenis Batyrkhan, Alan and Tarlan are growing up.
