Seilova Nurgul Abadullaevna, Candidate of Technical Sciences

Nurgul Abdullayeva Seilova was born on May 23, 1979 in the village of Terenozek, Kyzylorda region.

In 1996, she graduated with honors from secondary school No. 36 and entered the Kazakh National Technical University. In 2001, she received a diploma of a system engineer in the specialty "Computing machines, systems, and networks" Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev.

She started her career in 2001 as a trainee teacher of the Department of Computer Engineering.

In 2004, she graduated from graduate school with a degree in the specialty 05.13.01 "System analysis, management, and information processing". In 2010, defended the candidate's thesis in the Dissertation Council at KazNTU named after K.I. Satbayev.

In the following years, she was actively engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities. Scientific director of a number of grant funding projects: "Development of a block symmetric encryption algorithm" (MDDIaAI RK), "Assessment of the quality of spatial electromagnetic noise in active information protection systems" (SC MES RK) and contractual topics. She worked her way up from assistant to associate professor of the Department of Computer Engineering.

In 2013, she was appointed Deputy Director of the Institute of Information and Telecommunication Technologies for educational and methodological work.

In 2014, she was elected by competition to the position of head of the department "Cybersecurity, processing and storage of information" and headed the department for more than 7 years. During the leadership of the department, new educational programs in the field of information security were developed, licenses for master's and doctoral studies were obtained.

In 2019, she was appointed Director of the Institute of Cybernetics and Information Technologies at KazNTU named after K.I. Satbayev.

From 2021 to the present, she is the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Technology and Cybersecurity of JSC "International University of Information Technologies".

Nurgul Abadullayevna Seilova is one of the developers of standard programs, educational programs in the field of training "Information Security" (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral studies) in Kazakh and Russian. Author of textbooks, methodological developments on practical and laboratory work, more than 50 scientific publications in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission and foreign journals (RSCI, Scopus, Web of Science), including reports at international and national conferences.

She has experience in the Dissertation council for doctoral dissertations defense at KazNITU named after K.I. Satbayev: 6D070300 – "Information systems (by industry)", 6D070400 – "Computer engineering and software", 6D075100 – "Computer science, computer engineering and management", 6D070200 – "Automation and Management", 6D071900 – "Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications" (Scientific Secretary, Deputy Chairman).

Currently, she continues to develop scientific research in the field of developing algorithms for cryptographic protection of information, creating own encryption algorithm, methods for studying the quality characteristics of noise generators, and information security management tasks.
