Autobiography

Kaskatayeva Bakhytkul Rahimzhanovna – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor. The winner of the state grants "The best teacher of the University of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2007 and for 2019".

Kaskatayeva B.R. was born on May 17, 1946 in the village of Aksu, Kustanai region, Kustanai district. In 1963, she graduated from boarding school No. 1 named after Ibrai Altynsarin in Kostanay.

In 1963, she entered the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov and graduated in 1968 with a degree in Mathematics, teacher of Mathematics; 1968-1975, she worked as a mathematics teacher in secondary schools of the Kostanay region. In 1975, she worked as a software engineer at the Electronic Computing Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty;

1975-2000 worked as a senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department of the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after Ibray Altynsarin. In 1997, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: «Preparation of future mathematics teachers for the development of mathematical abilities of students» in the specialty 13.00.02 -Theory and methodology of teaching mathematics. In 2000, she received the academic title of associate professor in the specialty of pedagogy.

2000 – 2011 worked as an associate professor, professor of the Department of Mathematics of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University.

In 2010, she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic: «Formation of methodological competence of future mathematics teachers in their professional training» in the specialty 13.00.08 – Theory and methodology of vocational education. In 2011-2014, she worked as an associate professor at the Department of Informatics, Mathematics and Informatization of Education at the Institute of Master's Degree and PhD Doctoral Studies at KazNPU afted Abaya

2015-2020 - she Professor of the Department of Mathematics of of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University;

2015-2020 - she worked Associate Professor of the Department of Methods of Teaching Mathematics, Physics and Informatics at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics at KazNPU named after Abai; From 2023-24 academic year, Professor of the Department of of Methods of Teaching Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of KazNPU named after Abai;

Kaskatayeva B.R. is a leading researcher in the field of "Theory and methodology of education and upbringing" and "Theory and methodology of vocational education". She is the Author of more than 150 unique scientific and methodological works on the Pedagogy of Mathematics. The educational and methodological manuals and monographs written by her are widely used by students and teachers of Pedagogical Universities.
