Autobiography
My name is Potapenko Alexandra Olegovna and I was born on March 27, 1991.
In 2008, I entered S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on specialty “Computer Engineering and Programming” in intramural form of study. In 2012, I graduated from the university and was awarded a degree with honours. In the same year, I enrolled for Master's degree program “Informational Systems” at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University. In the years of my Master’s studies, I received training at Riga Technical University under Master’s Exchange Program. For 6 years long I was engaged in research and development of systems for monitoring and forecasting environmental pollution with solid aerosols. 6 articles related to this research direction were published both in journals of the Higher Attestation Commission and at international conferences. I completed an internship related to the research topic at the National University of Science and Technology “MISiS”, and took part in 4th international meeting of young researchers and practitioners within the framework of the project “Youth – Future - Environment”. This meeting was held in Germany: Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt. Software program for the analysis of environmental pollution with solid aerosols emitted by industrial enterprises was implemented. This work was carried out with the support of “Zhas Galym” project in 2013. In 2014, I completed Master’s program and was awarded Master’s degree diploma with honours. After completion of Master’s program in 2014, I enrolled at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University in PhD. Over the last three years, my scientific research was focused on the area of creation of the system for diagnosis and monitoring of faults in short-circuited rotor winding in induction motors. 9 articles were published on this topic, 4 of which were published in journals of the Higher Attestation Commission, 3 – were presented at the international conferences, one was published in foreign journal “Applied Mechanics and Materials”, and another one – in journal “Power Engineering”, which is included in the Scopus citation database. Innovative patent No. 31078 for an invention: “Method for diagnosing faults in short-circuited rotor winding in induction motors” was obtained, application No. 2015/0425.1 dated 16.03.2016, which is included in the register of inventions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Furthermore, I undertook internship at Riga Technical University (Riga, Latvia) and the National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” at the Department of Electromechanics (Moscow, the Russian Federation). 21 scientific articles were published for all the time of scientific activity.
I have completed the additional courses on studying the Kazakh and English languages, have IELTS certificate.
