Summary

Onggarbek A. Alipbeki, Doctor of Biological  Science, Professor, he began to work in Radiology laboratory at Research agricultural institute of Agricultural Ministry USSR (1972). He published 27 scientific works and defended the PhD's thesis on Radioecology.

After crushing the USSR O. Alipbeki cooperated with Soil science, Ecology and Climate, Space Research Institutes and worked in Scientific Research Institute for Plant protection.

In 2003 O. Alipbeki was invited in the Kazakh National Agricultural University of (KazNAU) where his leadership skills and talent of the organizator of education in science and production were brightly shown. He seized geoinformation technologies by this time: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote sensing  (RS), Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and Information and cCmmunication technologies (ICT).

Alipbeki's In KazNAU developed GIS of ecological intense regions of the country: Aral, Semipalatinsk Test Site, Cosmodrom Baykonur etc. For conducting systematic scientific works the Poligon for space researches was organized. He set ups the international cooperation. Seven researches and some commercial projects were realized on a competitive basis and basic GIS of Kazakhstan was created.

It became one of the best achievements of University in the field of geoinformatization. O. Alipbeki defended the doctor degree (doctoral) dissertation (2006), became Professor (2008) and Best teacher of Kazakhstan’s Universities (2009). He won the scholar Program RK “Bolashak” and was elected as Academician of the Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences (2011).

Alipbeki in 2010 after training at the Cambridge University (UK) in "Space monitoring and a Photogrammetry" was invited to JSC “National Company “Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary” (KGS) as the Head of the structural unit responsible for "Creation of the RK RS space system" (KazEOSat-1 and KazEOSat-2) which are already accepted in operation.

Besides, O. Alipbeki as the organizer knowing and able to integrate education science and business brilliantly performed all preparatory work for break of the RK space technologies on the market of geoinformation services. He conceptually proved ways of effective use of the RK space technologies and initiated introduction them to "The law RK on Space activity".

Alipbeki prepared and created competitive school of experts and set up the international cooperation (EU, USA, Canada, Japan and et. all). He in KazNAU and KGF successfully realized more than 30 systematized and purposeful scientific and commercial projects. Results of these works are reported at the international and regional scientific conferences and forums. In general, O. Alipbeki published more than 130 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 6 textbooks and invention.

Alipbeki was elected (on June 3, 2016) the full member (academician) of the International academy of informatization.
