Currently, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Teleommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev.
Scientific research: scientific supervisor of more than 30 scientific projects for specific customers of the industry, grant funding of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the World Bank, in the field of energy saving, emergency automation, optimization of electrical modes, Smart Grid, etc.
Research interests: researching the problems of integration of renewable energy sources, increasing the ca of electrical networks, as well as increasing energy efficiency and reliability of their operation using innovative digital technologies and world experience.
