Autobiography

Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the International Informatization Academy, recipient of the Ybyrai Altynsarin Medal and the “Enbek Ardageri” Medal

Bolat Kabdulsharipov was born on November 7, 1947, in the village of Kyzyl-Zhetek, Charsky District of Semipalatinsk Region.

In 1965, he graduated from Abai Secondary School in the town of Char. In the same year, he entered the Dzhambul Technological Institute of Light and Food Industry, from which he graduated in 1970 with a degree in engineering economics.

He began his professional career in Dzhambul, working as a senior economist at industrial enterprises, including the municipal industrial complex and the “Zapchast” plant, where he gained practical experience in production organization and economic analysis.

In 1973, on a competitive basis, he was appointed Assistant at the Department of Economics, Organization, and Planning of Industrial Enterprises at the Dzhambul Technological Institute, marking the beginning of his academic and teaching career.

In 1976, he entered a targeted postgraduate program at the Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry. After successfully defending his Candidate of Sciences dissertation, he returned to the Dzhambul Technological Institute as a senior lecturer.

In 1981, by decision of the Ministry of Higher Education of the USSR, he was transferred to the Semipalatinsk Technological Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry to strengthen the academic staff of the newly established institution.

In 1989, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Accounting, Control, and Analysis by the State Committee for Public Education of the USSR.

In the early 1990s, his career extended into public administration. In 1992, he was appointed Head of the Department for Forecasting and Regulation of Financial and Credit Relations in the Semipalatinsk Regional Administration, and in 1993 headed the pricing department, where he contributed to measures aimed at stabilizing prices and enhancing the competitiveness of local producers.

In 1994, he became Head of the Indirect Taxation Department at the regional tax inspectorate, where he developed and implemented an effective control system that increased budget revenues in compliance with national legislation.

In 1995, he served as Deputy Director of the commercial banks “Bogas Bank” and “Kazpochtabank,” addressing issues related to balancing the interests of creditors and borrowers during the formative period of the banking sector.

From 1997, he headed a department at the Semipalatinsk Technological Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry (now Shakarim University), where he was awarded the academic title of Professor.

In 1999, he was appointed Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Affairs at the East Humanitarian Institute in Ust-Kamenogorsk, and from 2000 served as First Vice-Rector of the institution.

On April 11, 2002, he was elected a Corresponding Member of the International Informatization Academy.

From 2005, he worked as Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Affairs at the Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics. In subsequent years, he held professorial positions at East Kazakhstan Regional University and, from 2013 to 2021, at the Kazakh Humanitarian Law Innovative University.

His research activity has focused on improving labor organization and production efficiency in the meat and dairy industries. Conducted in collaboration with the All-Union Research Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry (Moscow), his research results were implemented at the Semipalatinsk meat-processing plant and the municipal dairy plant.

He also led a professional delegation of dairy industry specialists to Harbin, China, to study advanced practices in dairy production.

He is a co-author of textbooks World Economy and International Economic Relations (published by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University), as well as more than 25 scientific articles on pressing issues in economics.

In addition to his academic work, he was actively engaged in public education through the “Knowledge” society, delivering lectures at industrial enterprises and hosting a television program on contemporary economic issues.

For his contributions to education and pedagogy, he was awarded the Ybyrai Altynsarin Medal and the “Enbek Ardageri” Medal.

Bolat Kabdulsharipov’s professional career represents a successful combination of scientific, educational, and managerial activity, contributing significantly to the development of higher education and the economy of Kazakhstan.
