The International Academy of Informatization (MAIN) is an independent self-governing public association of like-minded people in the field of cognition of the nature of information, information technology, environmental and information-analytical activities, society informatization and building of a unified world information community.
IIA was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 30, 1994, reg. No. 0418, as the Kazakhstani branch of the International Academy of Informatization headquartered in Moscow. By the decision of the general meeting of the academy members on October 19, 1998, a new charter was adopted and the name of the academy was changed to “International Academy of Informatization”.
In 2010, the legal address of the Academy was re-registered: 050000, Almaty city, Abylai Khan Ave. 79/71, office 311. Changes and additions were made to the charter by the decision of the meeting of the founding members of the Academy dated January 25, 2010.
IIA activities are based on voluntariness, equality of its members and self-government.
IIA mission: : Development of the national information infrastructure and the entry of the Republic of Kazakhstan into the world information community using rigorous scientific methods. The Academy carries out its mission by the sectors of the economy, interacting with government structures, institutes of civil society, international organizations, the media, and the social sphere.
