The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan announced the extension of the terms of transferring servers to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan with domain names. "KZ" and/or. "<unk>" until February 1, 2021. In order to comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on informatization in October this year, the Ministry sent notifications to the Kazakhstan Network Information Center about violation of the requirements regarding the placement of server infrastructure outside the Republic of Kazakhstan with a deadline of November 30, 2020. Also, the owners of more than 45 thousand domain names received notifications, about four thousand of them eliminated the revealed violations. [Profit]

The ministry spoke about the numerous requests of domain name owners to postpone the deadline for fulfilling requirements, taking into account the fact that the technical implementation of this procedure requires time and the redistribution of financial costs. In this regard, the ministry decided to extend the deadlines for transferring servers - until February 1, 2021. All domain names are currently running normally.
