The advisory coordination council on information security is created

For maintenance of the required level of security of the state electronic information resources, information systems and information and communication infrastructure of RK from external and internal threats the Advisory coordination council on information security from among profile specialists of public authorities and the organizations was created. On June 4 in RGP "Public Technical Service" of KNB RK the first meeting of KKS on information security during which members of KKS studied current state of information security in public authorities, exchanged views concerning development of measures for mutual exchange between state agencies of operational and other information on response to threats and incidents of IB, discussed issues of carrying out researches of the program code on existence of harmful functionality, the tests of objects of informatization of the electronic government and information systems carried to crucial objects of information and communication infrastructure on compliance to requirements of information security, etc. took place. Also possibilities of the platform for expeditious interaction allowing to exchange data on information security between the organizations were shown to participants.

Following the results of discussion it is entrusted to members of KKS to start execution of the tasks specified in the protocol to organize working meetings for subject discussion of problems and issues of monitoring of ensuring information security, etc. It is planned to hold the next meeting of KKS on information security in September, 2019.
