Autobiography

Raikhan Kalzhanovna Bukeikhanova / Tungushbayeva /, was born on November 26, 1950 in the city of Karaganda.

My father, Tungushbaev Kalzhan Kezhenbayevich, born in 1909, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, worked as head of the Kazakh language and literature department of the Karaganda Pedagogical Institute until his retirement, in December 1986.

My mother, Sarah Beysenova was born in 1915. She was a housewife who raised seven children.  She passed away in September 2014.

In 1967, after graduating from high school, I entered the Faculty of Philology of the Karaganda Pedagogical Institute, in 1970, because of my marriage, started studying in Almaty, in the Abai Kazakh Pedagogical Institute, which I graduated from in 1972. From 1973 worked at KazPTI after V.Lenin as a senior laboratory assistant of the Russian language department. After the birth of the second child, quit and worked for some time in the Ministry of Education of the Kazakh SSR, in the Kazakh Pedagogical Society.

In 1976-77 school year,  passed the competition for the position of teacher of the Russian and Foreign Languages ​​Department of the Almaty Energy Institute, where, from December 1990, I became a head of the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​department after defending the PhD dissertation at the Scientific and Research Institute for Teaching Russian at the National Academy School pedagogical sciences, Moscow.

I have experience of scientific expertise in the field of pedagogical and psychological sciences, because during the period when AIE (Almaty Institute of Energetics] joined KazPTI named after KI Satpayev, from 1994 to 2000, I worked in the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From September 2000, I again became a head of the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​department at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (AUPET).

In 1995, the second marriage was combined with Bukeikhanov, Dias Gabdulhakimovich.

Currently (since February 2017) I am an associate professor of the Department of Language Knowledge AUPET, scientific and pedagogical experience - over 40 years, in the list of scientific works more than 50 publications, including the textbook "Professional Russian language for technical universities" marked by the Ministry of Education and Science RK. For a number of years I have been carrying out scientific management of the obligatory research work of the department in the areas of Kazakh-Russian terminological lexicography, sociolinguistics and some other aspects of applied linguistics.
